Something's Blooming at Our New Old House...

Since this is the first year we've lived here in May & June, it's been our first chance to see what blooms this time of year. I missed taking shots of the Magnolias & Azaleas we had earlier, and the lillies aren't quite open yet- but here's what we've had in the last couple of weeks.

Not sure what these are... any ideas??

Don't know about these either. They kind of remind me of tiny Rhododendron blooms, but they're not...

These are my absolute favorites... Stunning Mountain Laurels...

This plant has even better color...

A lonely Peone... The plants are too young to bring many blooms. Maybe next year.

And just for fun... the house next door is still vacant - except for this guy who has taken up residence in the ivy. At least he's a quiet neighbor :)
